Who are we?

3 Bells Café is a place of worship centered in music and prayer, and a source of renewal, connection, and reverence for the Santa Cruz community.

A venue for spiritual music and spoken word artists, we are an outreach of the United Methodists in Santa Cruz.

At 3 Bells the community comes together to support local and regional acts in an open and creative environment, to share an espresso with friends on Sunday nights, and to raise funds and assistance for local charities.

The 3 Bells Café and the United Methodist Church of Santa Cruz are open and affirming communities, working for sustainable community throughout Santa Cruz and building a green church in Live Oak.

Join us for coffee, music, and friendship on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 250 California Street, between Bay and Laurel on the West Side.

Doors open at 6:30 and the music starts at 7:00 pm.

SUNDAY, November 9th

Willson & McKee - the jigheads
Rocky Mountain Celtic.
“...ancient, new and unplugged.”
International award winners for songwriting and instrumentation.
Ceili Dance Workshop at 5pm preceding the show.

Willson & McKee, a nationally touring duo specializing in original as well as traditional Irish and Scottish acoustic music, will be performing at the Café.

Rocky Mountain Celtic… what Celtic becomes when it settles comfortably in the west! Americans doing what they do best – interpreting their roots music in fresh and original ways!! The combination of their Celtic heritage plus their Montana and Colorado roots gives audiences a fresh musical experience, unlike anything on the current soundscape: original songs and tunes with an ancient sound, and rewriting the traditional with their distinctive style.

This duo, has won four top honors, three years in a row, in the International Songwriting Competition at the Milwaukee Irish Festival the largest Irish Festival in the World! Along with stellar songwriting skills, they showcase other award winning talents such as the 2002 National Dulcimer Champion.

Blazing Celtic instrumentals, warm harmony vocals, and a lot of laughter complete the Willson & McKee experience! The concert will include material from their eight CDs, including the 2004 release, “One Lone Rowan Tree” which was chosen as one of the top 20 album’s of the year by the Walnut Valley Festival, where the national acoustic instrument championships are held. They have garnered rave reviews from world and folk publications such as Dirty Linen Magazine: "Willson & McKee both have clear sweet voices… and are accomplished and versatile musicians! ... Impressive and expressive!"

A Willson & McKee concert is a curiously un-tamed moment in time, gathering past and present… a comfortable and engaging musical evening with friends.
Willson & McKee are: ancient, new and un-plugged…
